Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) regulates dysmenorrhea through syndrome differentiation and treatment. Daily attention should be paid to keeping warm during menstruation to avoid getting cold, avoiding raw, cold, and stimulating foods, and maintaining a comfortable mood. It is recommended that patients with dysmenorrhea seek medical attention from reputable traditional Chinese medicine institutions, where physicians can determine the syndrome type through a combination of four diagnostic methods and prescribe personalized prescriptions.
