Gong Han can be treated through warming meridians and dispelling cold, medication regulation, moxibustion therapy, dietary regulation, exercise improvement, and other methods. Palace coldness is usually related to factors such as insufficient kidney yang, invasion of cold pathogens, stagnation of qi and blood, physical deficiency and coldness, and poor lifestyle habits, manifested as symptoms such as menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, and cold limbs.

1. Warming meridians and dispelling cold
Warming meridians and dispelling cold is the basic method of traditional Chinese medicine for treating uterine cold, which improves symptoms by warming up yang qi and dispelling cold pathogens. Commonly used formulas such as Ai Fu Nuan Gong Wan are composed of Ai Ye and Xiang Fu, which can warm the meridians and relieve pain; Or use Shaofu Zhuyu Tang to treat dysmenorrhea caused by cold coagulation and blood stasis. During treatment, it is necessary to avoid eating raw and cold foods, pay attention to keeping the abdomen warm, and use a hot water bag to apply hot compress to the lower abdomen.
II. Medication Regulation
Traditional Chinese medicine regulation requires the selection of warm yang dispersing cold drugs based on syndrome differentiation. Individuals with kidney yang deficiency can take Yougui Pill to warm and tonify kidney yang; For those with insufficient Qi and blood, Bazhen Yimu Pill is suitable; People with cold coagulation and blood stasis can use Guizhi Fuling Pills to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations such as Dingkun Pill and Wuji Baifeng Pill are also commonly used to recuperate palace cold, but they should be selected according to the constitution under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to avoid taking medicine for a long time.
III. Moxibustion Therapy
Moxibustion penetrates and warms the meridians through heat, and commonly uses acupoints such as Guan Yuan, Qi Hai, and San Yin Jiao. Ginger separated moxibustion can enhance the effect of dispelling cold. It should be applied 3-5 times a month starting from the week before menstruation. Moxibustion of the Shenque acupoint with moxa sticks can also improve symptoms of uterine coldness, but it should be used with caution for those with yin deficiency and excessive fire. It is recommended to have a professional traditional Chinese medicine practitioner perform the operation to avoid burns or improper acupoint selection.

4. Dietary Maintenance
Daily consumption of warm foods such as lamb, longan, and ginger is recommended. It is recommended to use Danggui Ginger Lamb Soup to warm and nourish qi and blood. Brown sugar ginger tea can relieve abdominal pain during menstruation, but it is not suitable for patients with diabetes. Avoid cold foods such as ice cream and cold drinks, and avoid excessive consumption of cold fruits and vegetables such as watermelon and bitter melon in summer. Dietary therapy requires long-term adherence, and it is more effective when combined with other treatment methods.
Fifth, Exercise Improvement
Moderate exercise can promote the circulation of qi and blood. It is recommended to practice the Eight Section Brocade and Tai Chi exercises, with a focus on exercises such as "supporting the heavenly principles with both hands and focusing on the three burners". 30 minutes of brisk walking or yoga butterfly style stretching every day can improve pelvic blood circulation. Avoid sports such as swimming that come into contact with cold water, and keep your waist and abdomen warm during outdoor activities in winter. Patients with uterine coldness need long-term comprehensive conditioning, especially in winter, to strengthen cold prevention and warmth, wear high waisted pants and socks to avoid catching a cold in the waist and abdomen. Soak your feet in warm water at around 40 ℃ for 15 minutes every night, and add mugwort leaves or ginger for better results. Maintain a regular daily routine and avoid staying up late to conserve yang energy. If dysmenorrhea continues to worsen or there are large amounts of blood clots during menstruation, timely medical attention should be sought to rule out organic diseases such as endometriosis. Pregnant women need to regulate their cold constitution in advance to improve the probability of pregnancy.
