Traditional Chinese Medicine classifies sub-health

Sub health is not just a term, it truly occurs in more than N of us, with different hidden dangers. If we want to overcome sub-health conditions like SEP, we may want to carefully study which type of illness we belong to and prescribe the right medicine to truly find a solution. Based on the records of ancient and modern Chinese medical literature, combined with modern Chinese medicine's understanding of sub-health, we classify the TCM syndromes of sub-health into the following categories: liver stagnation and qi stagnation type, blood stasis and internal resistance type, damp heat internal accumulation type, yin deficiency and fire excess type, phlegm dampness endogenous type, qi and blood deficiency type, spleen kidney yang deficiency type, heart kidney non junction type, heart fire excess type, and liver stomach disharmony type.(1) Liver Stagnation and Qi Stagnation Typeis mainly characterized by depressed mood, low willpower, reticence or impatience, irritability, restlessness, chest and rib pain, wandering and pain, good breath, epigastric discomfort, frequent dreams and startles, breast swelling and pain in women, irregular menstruation, dark red or light red tongue, and stringy pulse. Mild depression, mild anxiety, neurasthenia, autism, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, dependence, etc. in the sub-health population mostly have the characteristics of liver depression and qi stagnation, which can be regulated according to traditional Chinese medicine theory.

(II) Blood stasis and internal resistance type

is mainly characterized by pain in the limbs, trunk, head and other parts of the body, with fixed pain areas, refusal to press, lack of skin color, and even skin nail dislocation, hair loss, thirst but not wanting to drink. Women may experience menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, or infertility, with purple and dark tongue, ecchymoses, and fine and astringent veins. A portion of the sub healthy population with mild paranoia, headache, neck and shoulder joint pain, etc., mostly have the characteristics of blood stasis and internal resistance, which can be regulated through methods and drugs such as promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.

(III) Damp heat internal type

is mainly characterized by bloating in the epigastric region, heavy and tired body, heavy and wrapped head, lack of body heat, irritability and nausea, yellow phlegm, short and red urine, sticky and unpleasant stool, yellow and greasy tongue coating, and fine pulse.

A portion of the sub healthy population suffer from constipation, diarrhea, vaginal discharge, indigestion, anorexia, etc., most of which have the characteristics of damp heat accumulation and can be regulated by clearing heat and dampness.

(4) Yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity type

is mainly characterized by body thinness, hot flashes and excessive sweating, insomnia and frequent dreams, restless and hot hearts, dry mouth and throat, short and red urine, dry stool, facial flushing, red lips, male nocturnal emissions, female nocturnal emissions, red tongue with little coating, and fine pulse count. A portion of the sub healthy population, including those with strong yang, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, nocturnal emissions, menstrual disorders, dream intercourse, sexual dysfunction, menopausal syndrome, etc., mostly belong to the Yin deficiency and Fire excess type, which can be regulated by nourishing yin and dispelling fire.

(V) Qi and blood deficiency type

is mainly characterized by palpitations, shortness of breath, intolerance to work, spontaneous sweating, sluggish digestion, bloating in the epigastric region after eating, pale or pale complexion, pale tongue, thin and weak pulse. Chronic fatigue syndrome, dizziness, forgetfulness, memory loss, drowsiness, and neurasthenia in the sub-health population mostly belong to the type of qi and blood deficiency, which can be regulated through dual supplementation of qi and blood.

(VI) Strong Heart Fire Type

is characterized by restlessness, insomnia, irritability, even madness, confusion, incoherent speech, unpredictable crying and laughing, frequent nightmares, red face and ears, thirst for cold drinks, short and red urine, or bloody or bloody urine, yellow coating, and pulse count. Insomnia, constipation, mouth sores, irritability, headache, dizziness, and borderline hypertension in the sub healthy population mostly belong to the type of excessive heart fire, which can be regulated by lowering the heart fire.
