Acupuncture and moxibustion can regulate the autonomic nervous function, relieve the frequency of angina pectoris, and can warm and unblock the heart yang with moxibustion at Guanyuan. During the acute phase, Western medicine treatment should be combined, and during the stable phase, treatment should be given 2-3 times a week.

3. Tuina massage

mainly focuses on acupoints on the pericardium meridian, such as Laogong acupoint and Jianshang acupoint, combined with back bladder meridian massage to promote the circulation of qi and blood. The technique should be gentle and slow, avoiding excessive force that may induce arrhythmia. It can be done once a day in the morning and once in the evening, for 15-20 minutes each time.

4. Acupoint application

Make a paste of Danshen, Sanqi and other medicines and apply it to the Danzhong and Zhiyang acupoints, exerting its therapeutic effect through transdermal absorption. Suitable for patients who are afraid of needles or for assisting in consolidating therapeutic effects, contraindicated for those with skin allergies. It is recommended to apply it at night for 6-8 hours and use it continuously for no more than 2 weeks.

5. Dietary therapy and conditioning

Daily consumption of blood activating ingredients such as hawthorn, fungus, onions, etc. should be avoided to avoid fatty and sweet flavors. It is recommended to take Tonic Diet such as Sanqi powder and Danshen tea, and add ophiopogon japonicus and Schisandra chinensis to those with yin deficiency. Diet should be light and low in salt, with controlled total calorie intake and moderate exercise. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment requires long-term adherence, and immediate medical attention should be sought when acute chest pain occurs. Maintain emotional stability in daily life, avoid overwork, quit smoking and limit alcohol consumption, and regularly monitor blood pressure and blood sugar. It is recommended to receive systematic treatment in a regular traditional Chinese medicine hospital. The combination of Chinese and Western medical methods can improve the efficacy.
