What are the treatment methods for premature ejaculation in traditional Chinese medicine

The traditional Chinese medicine treatment of premature ejaculation mainly includes five methods: oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, massage, diet conditioning, and emotional regulation. Premature ejaculation is often related to factors such as insufficient kidney qi, liver depression and qi stagnation, and deficiency of both heart and spleen. It needs to be treated based on individual constitution differentiation.

1. Oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine

traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations such as Jinkui Shenqi Pill and Wuzi Yanzong Pill are commonly used for the deficiency of kidney qi. Xiaoyao Powder can be used for the liver stagnation type, and Guipi Decoction can be used for the deficiency of heart and spleen. It should be noted that traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations, such as Suoyang Gujing Pill and Compound Xuanju Capsule, should be used under the guidance of doctors to avoid self compatibility. During the medication period, avoid eating raw, cold, spicy food, and the treatment usually lasts for 1-3 months.

2. acupuncture and moxibustion therapy

Select Guanyuan, Shenshu, Sanyinjiao and other acupoints for filiform needle stimulation, and moxibustion at Mingmen can warm and replenish the kidney yang. Treat 2-3 times a week, with 10 times as one course of treatment. Clinical research shows that acupuncture and moxibustion can regulate autonomic nervous function and prolong the latency of ejaculation. During treatment, excessive fatigue should be avoided.

3. Massage and Tuina

Use techniques such as tapping on the Eight Liao points in the lumbar and sacral regions, kneading the Taixi point, etc. to unblock meridians, and improve the circulation of qi and blood by combining with abdominal massage. Daily self massage of the perineal muscles for 10 minutes can enhance control ability. The technique should be gentle and gradual, and should not be used during acute inflammation.

4. Diet conditioning

Eat some kidney tonifying ingredients such as yam, wolfberry, walnut, etc., and recommend Tonic Diet such as Congee with gorgon fruit and poria cocos, Eucommia ulmoides and pork loin soup. Avoid drinking alcohol and spicy foods, and avoid overeating for dinner. Long term spleen deficiency patients can regularly take lotus seed and red date soup to supplement the spleen and stomach.

5. Emotional regulation

Relieves anxiety through meditation and breathing training, and both partners need to establish positive communication. Avoid excessive focus on duration and cultivate a regular sleep routine. Patients with liver depression can practice Eight Section Brocade to relieve emotions, and if necessary, cooperate with psychological counseling.

Traditional Chinese medicine treatment emphasizes overall regulation, and it is recommended to record sexual life logs in conjunction with treatment. Daily exercises such as lifting the anus can enhance pelvic floor muscle strength and control sexual frequency. If accompanied by organic diseases such as prostatitis, Western medicine treatment should be carried out simultaneously. During the treatment period, maintain moderate exercise and avoid behaviors that consume kidney essence, such as prolonged sitting and staying up late.
