Urine ketone high benefit is not conducive to weight loss

High levels of ketones in urine refer to the production of large amounts of ketones in the body, usually occurring in special situations such as low carbohydrate or ketogenic diets. Although high levels of ketones in urine may help with weight loss in some cases, there are also some adverse effects. In a state of high urinary ketone levels, the body will turn to using fat as its primary energy source instead of relying on sugar, which may help promote fat burning and reduce weight. In a state of high urinary ketones, insulin secretion is reduced, which may help regulate blood sugar levels and better manage insulin resistance.

High levels of urinary ketones may lead to nutritional imbalance, as low carbohydrate or ketogenic diets reduce carbohydrate intake and may not provide sufficient dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals for the body. Not eating staple foods leads to a large breakdown of adipose tissue and an increase in ketone body production, which is usually processed by the liver. Excessive ketone bodies may lead to liver dysfunction. Excessive urinary ketones may cause patients to experience symptoms of ketoacidosis, such as dizziness, coma, shock, etc., which is detrimental to the body.

Losing weight should be done in a healthy way, such as a reasonable diet, moderate exercise, ensuring sufficient sleep, eating less high-fat, high sugar, and high protein foods, reducing the body's load. If any discomfort occurs during the weight loss process, medical attention should be sought in a timely manner.
