How to remedy the incomplete frying of peanuts in deep frying

If the fried peanuts are not fully cooked, they can be fried again or baked in an oven. The main remedial methods include frying again, oven reheating, microwave heating, stir frying after peeling, and making other dishes.

1. Fry again

Pour the unripe peanuts back into an oil pan at around 160 degrees Celsius and fry over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Note that the oil temperature should not be too high to avoid the outer skin being burnt and the inside still not fully matured. During the re frying process, it is necessary to continuously flip the peanuts to ensure even heating. When the peanut coat turns light brown in color and is accompanied by dense small bubbles, it can be removed.

2. Oven re baking

Spread the peanuts flat on the baking tray and bake in the middle layer of the preheated oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. This method can avoid the greasy feeling of secondary frying and is suitable for people who pursue a healthy diet. During baking, it is necessary to remove and flip it once to ensure even heating. The maturity can be determined by observing the color of the cross-section of the broken rice. If the core turns white, the baking time needs to be extended.

3. Microwave Heating

Spread the peanuts flat on the microwave turntable, heat on medium high heat for 1 minute, then remove and flip, repeat this operation 2-3 times. Microwave can quickly evaporate the moisture inside peanuts, but it is important to note that the heating time should not exceed 1 minute each time to prevent local overheating and carbonization. The heated peanuts need to be left to stand for 5 minutes to continue maturing using residual heat.

4. Peel and stir fry

Rub off the skin of unripe peanuts, put them in an oil-free wok, and stir fry over low heat for 5-8 minutes. After peeling, it is easier to observe the ripeness when the peanut kernels are light yellow and emit a nutty aroma. This method is suitable for making ground peanuts without clothing, and can be used to mix cold dishes or make peanut butter, but it needs to be kept on low heat throughout the process to avoid burning.

5. Making other dishes

Processing semi cooked peanuts as raw materials into other foods, such as making peanut soup by boiling them in water until soft, or stewing them with meat to enhance flavor. You can also use a blender to crush and mix flour to make peanut cookies, and bake the peanuts to fully ripen them. This method can avoid food waste, but it is necessary to ensure that the subsequent cooking reaches a sufficient temperature.

When remedying undercooked peanuts, attention should be paid to observing the ripeness, which can be comprehensively judged by color changes, aroma emission, and texture crispness. After completing the remediation, it should be thoroughly cooled and sealed for storage to prevent moisture from affecting the taste. It is recommended to control the oil temperature at 150-170 degrees Celsius during the initial frying of daily fried peanuts. Once the dense cracking sound is heard, it should be immediately removed and the residual heat should be used for further maturation to better maintain the crispness. It is recommended to store in a dry container and in a cool place to maintain a crisp and refreshing taste for about two weeks.
