How to remedy the crispy fried peanuts

Fried peanuts that are not crispy can be remedied by reheating, microwave heating, or oven drying. The softening of peanuts is mainly related to moisture, insufficient oil temperature, or improper storage. Adjusting the operation details can restore the crispy taste.

Re frying is the most direct and effective method. Put the non crispy peanuts back into an oil pan at around 160 degrees Celsius, fry over low heat for 30 seconds, and quickly remove and drain the oil. When frying again, it is necessary to control the oil temperature to avoid burning. After removing it, spread it flat on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil, and sprinkle a small amount of salt to help keep it crispy. This method is suitable for peanuts that soften shortly after deep frying, but it should be noted that prolonged re frying can cause a bitter taste. Microwave heating is suitable for situations with slight moisture. Spread the peanuts flat on a microwave tray, heat on medium high heat for 1 minute, then remove and flip. Repeat 2-3 times to remove moisture. During the heating process, close observation is required to prevent burning, and the status can be checked every 30 seconds. This method can quickly restore crispness, but excessive heating can cause oil leakage and affect flavor. It is recommended to use sealed cans and place food desiccants during storage.

To keep the peanuts crispy, it is important to control the oil temperature at 150-180 degrees Celsius during frying. Fry until slightly yellow and immediately remove from the pot. After complete cooling, seal and store to avoid contact with water vapor. If softening occurs after storage for more than 3 days, it can be dried in an oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. For daily consumption, it is recommended to fry in small amounts and pair with acidic foods such as lemon juice to delay oxidation. At the same time, it is important to consume high-fat foods in moderation.
