How to remedy the crispy fried peanuts

Fried peanuts that are not crispy can be remedied by frying them again, heating them in an oven, drying them in a microwave, and other methods. The softening of peanuts due to moisture is mainly related to factors such as high humidity in the storage environment, insufficient roasting temperature, and improper cooling methods. After the peanuts have softened, they can be placed back in a dry, oil-free pan and slowly stir fried over low heat until the water evaporates and the crispy texture is restored. This method is suitable for peanuts that are slightly damp. Pay attention to controlling the heat to avoid burning. When using the oven, spread the peanuts flat on a baking tray, set it to low temperature and bake for a few minutes. Flip it halfway to ensure even heating. Microwave oven remediation requires spreading peanuts in a microwave specific container, heating them at medium high heat for a short period of time, and checking their status multiple times. If the peanuts are not completely dehydrated due to insufficient frying time, the remedy is to extend the re frying time to allow the central water to evaporate completely. Improper storage can cause peanuts to absorb moisture and become soft. In addition to re frying, sealed and moisture-proof containers should also be replaced for storage. When peanuts are cooled, they will absorb moisture when exposed to the air. After frying, they should be spread out to cool and sealed as soon as possible.

It is recommended to use glass or ceramic sealed jars for daily storage of peanuts, and store them in a cool and dry place to avoid direct sunlight. Before stir frying, ensure that the peanuts are fully dried. Use low to medium heat to stir fry slowly until the slight cracking sound disappears, then immediately remove from heat. Storing with silicone desiccant can prolong the crispiness time, and peanuts that have been treated for moisture should be consumed as soon as possible to avoid secondary softening. Controlling the amount of each stir fry and packaging storage can reduce humidity exposure caused by opening and closing.
