Electric teapots with bottom water filling usually achieve automatic water filling function through built-in water pumps or siphon principles. The main operating methods include button control, water level sensing, manual triggering, anti dry burning protection, and power linkage design.

1. Button Control
Most bottom mounted water and electricity teapots are equipped with independent water filling buttons. When pressed, the water pump starts to draw water from the water tank into the pot body. Some high-end models support touch or APP remote control, and it is necessary to ensure that the water tank has sufficient water volume and is connected to a power source. Be careful not to frequently press and damage the motor components during operation.
2. Water level sensing
Products using intelligent water level sensors will automatically replenish water when the water level in the pot is insufficient, and detect changes in water level through electrode pads or float devices. This type of design can effectively prevent air burning, but it is necessary to regularly clean the scale to avoid induction failure. Using purified water can extend the lifespan of sensors.
3. Manual triggering
Some basic models require manually aligning the pot body with the water tank interface and pressing it, using the pressure difference to make the water flow rise. This method does not require power support, but the pot body needs to be kept vertical during operation to avoid water leakage. Suitable for outdoor or power outage emergency scenarios.

4. Anti dry burn protection
When no water is detected in the pot, the system will lock the water filling function and issue an alarm. The power must be cut off for cooling before refilling. This mechanism is implemented through a temperature sensor, which can effectively prevent dry burning and damage to the heating tube. Before use, the protective device should be checked for normal operation.
5. Power linkage
Some tea art specific models are linked to the base power supply, and the water filling process automatically starts after placing the pot body. These products are usually equipped with magnetic charging interfaces, and it is necessary to ensure that the contact points are clean and free of oxidation. When not in use for a long time, the power connection should be disconnected.

Regularly clean the water tank pipeline with citric acid during daily use to prevent scale from blocking and affecting the water filling efficiency. After injecting water, check whether the sealing ring is aging and leaking. When storing, keep the water tank dry to avoid bacterial growth. If there is a delay or abnormal response in water supply, stop immediately and contact after-sales to check the water pump or circuit system. It is recommended to choose products with food grade 304 stainless steel inner liners to avoid the release of harmful substances from plastic materials when exposed to heat.
