The shelf life of Royce Biotech is generally around one month, and the specific time is affected by factors such as storage temperature, packaging integrity, freshness of raw materials, additive content, and handling methods after opening.
1. Storage Temperature
Royce Chocolate contains a large amount of dairy products and fresh cream, and needs to be refrigerated throughout the entire process. When unopened, it is recommended to store it in the 0-4 ℃ freezer compartment. High temperature environments can accelerate chocolate melting and microbial growth. If temperature fluctuations exceed 8 ℃ during transportation or storage, the shelf life may be shortened by more than half.
2. Packaging Integrity
The original factory sealed packaging uses multi-layer aluminum foil to isolate oxygen and moisture, which can effectively maintain a shelf life of one month. Once the packaging is damaged or the sealing strip is loose, oxygen and moisture can cause frosting or mold to appear on the surface of the chocolate. It is not recommended to consume it even if it has not reached the marked shelf life.
3. Freshness of raw materials
Cleverly using non preservative treated pasteurized fresh cream directly affects the shelf life of the finished product. The closer the production date of the batch in the factory, the longer the actual edible period. Some limited edition flavors may have a shorter shelf life than regular flavors due to the addition of fresh fruit sauce and other ingredients.
4. Additive content
Royce classic Shengqiao does not add artificial preservatives and relies on low temperature to inhibit bacteria. Some special series, such as wine heart chocolate, contain a small amount of alcohol, which can slightly extend the storage time. But all products should be consumed within 3 days after opening to avoid cross contamination.
5. After opening
Immediately wrap the incision tightly with cling film to isolate air and refrigerator odors. Dry and clean tableware should be used for each use to avoid direct contact with hands. If white spots, sticky or sour taste are found on the surface of chocolate, even if it has not expired, it should be stopped from consumption.
It is recommended to choose the latest production batch when purchasing and check if the packaging is intact and undamaged. After opening, try to consume it within 3 days and pair it with black tea or coffee to neutralize the sweetness. It is recommended to use ice packs for transportation during high temperatures in summer and refrigerate immediately upon arrival at home. Lactose intolerant individuals should pay attention to the high content of milk solids in raw materials, and consuming small amounts in portions is more conducive to digestion and absorption. If long-term storage is required, it can be packaged and sealed before freezing, but the taste will slightly harden after thawing.
