Can plastic bottles of milk be heated in a microwave

In special circumstances, if the plastic bottle is clearly labeled as "suitable for microwave ovens" and the material is PP, low-power heating can be used for a short period of time. But it is necessary to ensure that the bottle body is not damaged or decorated with metal, and open the bottle cap to release pressure before heating. The heating time should be controlled within 30 seconds to avoid excessive temperature. immediately transfer to a glass or ceramic container for drinking after heating to reduce plastic contact time.

It is recommended to pour milk into a microwave glass or ceramic cup and heat it, keeping the temperature below 60 degrees Celsius to avoid nutrient loss. Stir every 15 seconds during heating to ensure even heating and avoid local overheating that can damage whey protein. Before heating refrigerated milk, it can be left at room temperature for a moment to reduce the temperature difference. After opening, it is recommended to consume the milk within 24 hours.
