The sudden odor of durian at home can be eliminated by opening windows for ventilation, using activated carbon adsorption, spraying white vinegar water, placing orange peels, and using air purifiers. The odor of durian mainly comes from the volatile substances in the flesh, and the odor molecules are easily attached to the surface of fabrics or furniture.

1. Open windows for ventilation

Immediately open all doors and windows to create convective air, accelerating indoor and outdoor gas exchange. The main component of durian odor is sulfur-containing compounds, which can be quickly diluted by ventilation. Houses facing north and south can have both windows open simultaneously, and it is recommended to maintain ventilation for at least half an hour. 5. Air Purifier
