Weight loss liposuction generally refers to liposuction, which uses physical means to remove the subcutaneous fat accumulation to achieve local shaping effect. Fat aspiration mainly includes methods such as swelling anesthesia aspiration, ultrasound assisted aspiration, laser assisted aspiration, power assisted aspiration, and hydrodynamic aspiration.

1. Swelling Anesthesia Aspiration
Swelling anesthesia aspiration is the process of injecting swelling fluid containing anesthetics and vasoconstrictors into the suction site, causing adipocytes to swell, and then using a negative pressure suction device to extract. This method has minimal trauma and is suitable for areas with high fat accumulation such as the waist, abdomen, and thighs. Close monitoring of vital signs is necessary during operation to avoid anesthesia related complications.
2. Ultrasonic assisted suction
Ultrasonic assisted suction uses high-frequency sound waves to break down the fat cell membrane, emulsify the fat, and then suck it out. This method is effective for areas with more fibrous tissue, such as the back, but requires control of ultrasound energy to prevent burns. There may be a brief feeling of skin numbness after surgery, which usually takes 1-3 months to recover.
III. Laser assisted suction
Laser assisted suction uses laser fibers to dissolve fat and stimulate collagen regeneration, with both shaping and tightening effects on the skin. Suitable for delicate parts such as the face and arms, attention should be paid to the selection of laser wavelength to avoid thermal damage. After surgery, it is necessary to wear elastic clothing to help the skin retract.

4. Power assisted suction
Power assisted suction uses a blunt tipped liposuction tube with reciprocating motion to mechanically separate fat, making it easier for doctors to operate and causing less damage to blood vessels and nerves. But the efficiency of removing deep fat is relatively low, and it often needs to be used in conjunction with other methods. The duration of postoperative bruising is shorter than traditional methods.
V. Hydrodynamic suction
Hydrodynamic suction uses high-pressure water flow to selectively separate adipose tissue and preserve structures such as blood vessels and nerves. This technology has high precision and fast recovery, making it suitable for secondary corrective surgery. However, due to the high cost of equipment, the expenses are relatively expensive. Preoperative assessment of skin elasticity is necessary to ensure postoperative smoothness.

After liposuction, it is necessary to continue wearing shapewear for 4-6 weeks to help the skin fit and avoid vigorous exercise for 1-2 months. Daily diet should control calorie intake but ensure high-quality protein supplementation, and consume more vitamin C rich broccoli, kiwifruit, etc. to promote wound healing. If there is fever, severe pain, or abnormal swelling at the suction site after surgery, timely follow-up is necessary. This method only targets local fat accumulation and still needs to be combined with dietary regulation and regular exercise to maintain long-term effects.
