Abdominal scraping requires proper techniques to stimulate meridians and promote local metabolism. The main techniques include straight scraping, curved scraping, point pressing, rotation, and friction. When operating, attention should be paid to controlling the force and direction.

1. Straight line scraping method
Scrape vertically along the direction of the abdominal vein or stomach meridian, using a scraping board with the long side at a 45 degree angle to the skin, and push forward uniformly in one direction for 10-15 centimeters. Suitable for the middle and lower abdomen where fat accumulation is relatively uniform, it can unblock the meridians and qi and blood. The wiping frequency should be maintained at 15-20 times per minute, and stop when the skin turns slightly red to avoid repeatedly scratching the same area.
2. Arc Scraping Method
Make a clockwise circular scraping around the navel, adjust the contact angle between the surface and the skin to 30 degrees, and draw an arc with a radius of 5 centimeters around the navel. This method focuses on stimulating acupoints such as the Tian Shu and Da Heng, which helps improve intestinal peristalsis. When operating, keep your wrist flexible and apply even force in each lap. After completing 8-10 laps, switch to the counterclockwise direction.
3. Point pressing method
Use a scraping board with rounded corners to vertically press on acupoints such as Zhongwan and Guanyuan, and continue to apply pressure for 3-5 seconds before quickly lifting them up. Repeat each acupoint 3-5 times to produce a degree of soreness and swelling. This technique can activate deep neural reflexes, which works better with the rhythm of breathing. Press down during inhalation and relax during exhalation.

Fourth, Rotation Method
Place the short edge of the scraping board in the area with thicker fat, and perform a small-scale spiral movement, gradually increasing the pressure with rotation. Suitable for treating excess fat in the side abdomen, promoting subcutaneous microcirculation through centrifugal force. Each group rotates 15-20 times, with a movement interval of 2 centimeters, and the total duration does not exceed 3 minutes.
Fifth, Friction Method
The flat surface of the board is quickly rubbed back and forth against the skin to produce a moderate heat sensation. Mainly applied to areas of muscle relaxation, it can enhance skin elasticity. Before operation, a sufficient amount of medium should be applied, with a frequency controlled at 60-80 times per minute, and the local temperature should rise to a slight level before stopping.

Before performing abdominal scraping, clean the skin and apply essential oil or scraping cream. Do not operate within 1 hour after meals. After scraping, drink 300ml of warm water and avoid catching a cold and vigorous exercise for 24 hours. No more than 2 times a week, with 6-8 times as one course of treatment. If subcutaneous congestion occurs, it should be paused. It is recommended to combine aerobic exercise and dietary control, as the effect is more significant for those with damp heat constitution. This method is forbidden for patients with diabetes, pregnant women and people with skin infection.
