Is the bathwater in the swimming pool the same as the pool water

Swimming pool bath water is usually not pool water, and there are significant differences between the two in terms of circulation system, disinfection standards, and usage. Pool water needs to be recycled through a filtration and disinfection system, while shower water is mostly independently supplied disposable domestic water. The swimming pool water in the SEP swimming pool needs to maintain hygiene standards for a long time, usually equipped with professional equipment such as sand tank filtration and ozone disinfection. The water is purified multiple times before being recycled. This type of water will be treated with chlorine containing disinfectants to maintain residual chlorine concentration, which may cause slight irritation to the skin and hair. The temperature of the swimming pool water is generally controlled at around 26 degrees, which is suitable for sports needs but slightly lower than the comfortable temperature for bathing. The water source for the shower area of the swimming pool is mostly municipal tap water or an independent water supply system that has been softened, which belongs to the category of ready to use and discharged domestic water. The temperature of the shower water can be adjusted independently, and the water quality is closer to home shower standards, without high concentration disinfectants. Some high-end venues will use solar heating or wastewater recycling systems, but they will still be physically isolated from the pool water system. The floor drainage design of the shower area also needs to comply with anti slip and anti backflow requirements to avoid cross contamination with the swimming pool area.

It is recommended to use shower gel to clean the skin before and after swimming, which can remove residual pool disinfectant and prevent skin sensitivity issues. When choosing a regular swimming pool, you can observe whether the water quality test report is publicly displayed, and also pay attention to whether the shower area is equipped with sufficient toiletries. If abnormal reactions such as rash or itching are found on the skin, seek medical attention promptly to investigate the cause.
