The constant buzzing of Xiaomi refrigerator may be a normal phenomenon or a malfunction. When the refrigerator is running, the compressor and refrigerant circulation will produce regular noises, but continuous abnormal noises accompanied by abnormal refrigeration should be taken seriously. When the refrigerator is running normally, the compressor will make a low-frequency buzzing sound when it starts, usually lasting for a few minutes before stopping, which belongs to the working noise of the refrigeration system. When the fan motor drives the circulation of cold air, it may also produce a slight buzzing sound, especially in high-temperature environments or after frequent door opening. Due to differences in sound insulation design, some models may produce slightly noticeable sound during operation, but the pitch is smooth and without any noise. If the buzzing sound continues and is accompanied by box vibration and a decrease in cooling effect, there may be problems such as uneven installation, condenser dust accumulation, or compressor aging. Refrigerant leakage can cause abnormal buzzing during compressor overload operation, and aging door seals and cold leaks can also cause the compressor to work for a long time. At this point, it is necessary to check whether the refrigerator is placed horizontally, whether there is sufficient heat dissipation space on the back, and observe the frost formation in the refrigeration compartment.

In daily use, avoid keeping the refrigerator close to the wall and maintain a heat dissipation distance of at least 10 centimeters. Regularly cleaning the condenser dust can reduce the load on the compressor. When storing food, be careful not to exceed two-thirds of the capacity. If the abnormal noise persists for more than 24 hours or is accompanied by an increase in refrigeration temperature, it is recommended to contact after-sales service for testing of core components such as compressors and refrigeration systems. Keeping the area around the refrigerator ventilated and dry can effectively extend its service life and reduce operating noise.
