It is recommended to gently scrub with flowing water and a soft bristled brush before consumption, which can effectively clean without damaging the nutrition of the fruit pulp. For apples that have been stored for a long time, soaking them in warm water at around 50 ℃ for 1 minute can help soften the wax.
