How to remove the adhesive left by double-sided tape

The adhesive stains left by double-sided tape can be removed by wiping with alcohol, dissolving with oil, heating with a hair dryer, rubbing with an eraser, cleaning with detergent, and other methods. These methods are easy to operate and safe for most material surfaces.

1. Alcohol wiping

Stubborn residues can be covered with a soft cloth dipped in alcohol for a few minutes before cleaning. Use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive mark at a distance of 10 centimeters for 30 seconds, and wipe it with a dry cloth while it is still hot. Suitable for materials such as fabrics and leather that are not resistant to chemical solvents, be aware that high temperatures may damage certain synthetic fibers.

4. Rubber eraser friction

5. Cleaning with detergent
