How to heat plastic bottles of milk

Plastic bottles of milk can be directly placed in hot water and heated in a separate compartment, but high temperature boiling or direct microwave heating should be avoided. Plastic bottle materials may release harmful substances at high temperatures. It is recommended to pour milk into glass or ceramic containers before heating for safety. When heating milk, it is more appropriate to control the temperature below 60 degrees Celsius, which can ensure drinking comfort without damaging the nutritional content. When heating separately, the plastic bottle can be soaked in hot water at a temperature not exceeding 80 degrees Celsius for 5-10 minutes, during which it needs to be shaken multiple times to ensure even heating. Pay attention to whether the bottle body is deformed. If the plastic bottle softens, stop heating immediately.

In special circumstances where rapid heating is required, milk can be poured into a heat-resistant container and heated over high heat in a microwave for 30 seconds. Never put plastic bottles directly into the microwave, as high temperatures can cause substances such as bisphenol A to precipitate. Although some high-temperature resistant plastic bottles are labeled as microwave heatable, there are still safety hazards in long-term use. It is recommended to prioritize using glassware.

It is recommended to choose pasteurized refrigerated fresh milk for daily consumption, and consume it within 24 hours after opening. Heated milk should be consumed as soon as possible to avoid nutrient loss caused by repeated heating. Lactose intolerant individuals can choose Shu Hua milk, and attention should also be paid to the safety of container materials when heating. When storing milk, it should be kept away from direct sunlight. Unopened boxes of room temperature milk can be stored in a cool and dry place.
