Warm water can dilute phlegm, and when combined with the lung moistening and phlegm resolving effects of Fritillaria thunbergii, it can improve paroxysmal coughing caused by bronchospasm. The water temperature should not exceed 40 ℃ to avoid damaging active ingredients such as honey.

3. Take it half an hour after a meal.

The components such as ursolic acid in loquat leaves need to be absorbed after food buffering, and taking them at this time can enhance the cough and asthma relief effect. Taking on an empty stomach may cause discomfort or acid reflux in the epigastric region.

4. Avoid spicy foods

During consumption, avoid spicy and dry foods such as chili peppers, onions, and ginger, as they may counteract the nourishing yin and lung moisturizing effects of Sichuan scallops. Continuous use should not exceed 1 week. If cough does not improve, stop using and seek medical attention. Chuanbei loquat paste contains ingredients such as amygdalin, and long-term use may cause mild gastrointestinal reactions. Those who cough due to wind cold or have a lot of phlegm and thin sputum should use it with caution, and those with diabetes should choose a sugar free dosage form.

During the period of taking Chuanbei loquat paste, the indoor air should be kept moist, and the daily water intake should not be less than 1500 milliliters. It can be combined with pressing Tiantu acupoint and Feishu acupoint to enhance the cough stopping effect. If allergic reactions such as rash, difficulty breathing, or coughing accompanied by fever, chest pain, hemoptysis, etc. occur, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention should be sought. Chronic cough patients should be screened for potential causes such as allergic rhinitis and gastroesophageal reflux, and should not rely solely on cough syrup for treatment.
