How to air dry grapes after dry cleaning

After cleaning, raisins can be dried with kitchen paper to absorb moisture and then dried in the shade, or dried at low temperatures using a dryer. The wrinkles on the surface of raisins are prone to accumulating dirt and grime. After cleaning, they need to be thoroughly dried to avoid mold growth. After cleaning raisins, residual moisture can easily breed mold, so it is recommended to choose a ventilated and cool place to lay them flat and dry them. Place a single layer of raisins on a clean bamboo sieve or kitchen paper, and let it dry naturally in a dark and ventilated place. During this time, flip it over to ensure even drying. Avoid direct sunlight or high temperature exposure, otherwise it may cause the surface of the sugar to become sticky. If the environmental humidity is high, an electric fan can be used to accelerate air circulation, which usually takes one to two days to completely dry. If rapid drying is required, a food dryer can be used with a temperature set not exceeding 50 degrees Celsius and a time controlled between two to three hours. During the drying process, it is necessary to flip it every half an hour to prevent local overheating and hardening. Never use a microwave or oven to dry at high temperatures, as high temperatures can damage the B vitamins and polyphenols in raisins. If the cleaned raisins do not dry in time and become sticky, they can be rinsed with cold water and dried again.

Processed raisins should be sealed and refrigerated for storage, and it is recommended to consume them within two weeks. Before daily consumption, observe for mold or odor, and avoid mixing with perishable foods such as raw meat and seafood during storage. Raisins have a high sugar content, so diabetes patients need to control their intake. It is recommended that children and the elderly eat them together with nuts to promote nutritional balance. If the color of raisins is abnormally black or the texture becomes hard, they should be stopped from consumption.
