3. How to wash cherries the cleanest?

1. Rice washing water

Rice washing water contains various alkalis, which can effectively neutralize the acidity and alkalinity of pesticides on the surface of cherries, thereby better killing the bacteria remaining on them. So it's best to use rice washing water for the first cleaning.

2. Saltwater

Cleaning cherries with salt water is also one of the good methods, which can be easily solved at home. It is best to soak cherries in salt water for 20 minutes first, and then rinse them with clean water. Because the salt in saltwater can float insects attached to cherries, making it easier to wash them away with water and achieve a pollution-free state, making it more reassuring to eat.

3. Edible alkali

Soak cherries in salt water for about 10 minutes to remove impurities. Then add an appropriate amount of edible alkali to the water, remove it, and rinse it with clean water once. This way, consuming alkali completely kills the bacterial substances on the cherries, making them cleaner and safer.

4. Baking Soda or Flour

First, put cherries into warm water, then add an appropriate amount of baking soda or flour, gently rub and wash with your hands, and then rinse twice with clean water.
