What are the clinical symptoms of COVID-19 pneumonia? There are four types after infection

What are the symptoms of mild, ordinary and severe COVID-19? Here are the clinical symptoms of COVID-19 pneumonia. Let's have a look!

Clinical symptoms of COVID-19 pneumonia (I) Mild

clinical symptoms are mild, and no pneumonia is found on imaging.

(II) Common type

has symptoms such as fever and respiratory symptoms, and pneumonia can be seen on imaging.

(III) Severe

Adults who meet any of the following criteria:

1. shortness of breath, RR≥ 30 times/minute;

2. In a resting state, when inhaling air, the oxygen saturation is 93%;

3. Arterial partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2)/oxygen concentration (FiO2)≤ 300mmHg(1mmHg=0.133kPa) ;

In high-altitude areas (above 1000 meters), PaO 2/Fi Og should be corrected according to the following formula: PaO 2/FiO 2× [760/atmospheric pressure (mmHg)].

4. Clinical symptoms progressively worsen, and lung imaging shows significant progression of the lesion within 24-48 hours in 50% of cases.

Clinical symptoms of COVID-19 pneumonia

Children meet any of the following:

1. Persistent high fever for more than 3 days;

2. Symptoms of shortness of breath (<2 months old, RR≥ 60 times/minute; 2-12 months old, RR≥ 50 times/minute; 1-5 years old, RR≥ 40 times/minute; &Ge; 5 years old, RR≥ 30 times/minute), excluding the effects of fever and crying;

3. In a resting state, when inhaling air, the oxygen saturation is 93%;

4. Assisted respiration (nasal wing flapping, three concave sign);

5. Appearance of drowsiness and convulsions; 6. Refusal to eat or difficulty feeding, with signs of dehydration.

(IV) Severe

Those who meet one of the following conditions:

1. Respiratory failure occurs and mechanical ventilation is required;
