Can I take out the food from the fridge and eat it directly

Whether the food in the refrigerator can be eaten directly depends on the type of food and storage conditions. Some can be eaten directly, while others require heating treatment. Refrigerated ready to eat foods such as yogurt, fruits, and partially cooked foods can usually be consumed directly after being taken out of the refrigerator. These types of food are sterilized or suitable for cold consumption, and low-temperature storage can inhibit their edibility. However, attention should be paid to checking the shelf life and sealing of storage containers to avoid spoilage caused by improper storage. Fruits are recommended to be washed before consumption, and cooked food should be confirmed to have no odor or mold.

Ingredients that require heating, fresh meat, leftovers, etc. must be thoroughly heated before consumption after being taken out of the refrigerator. Although low-temperature environments can slow down bacterial growth, they cannot kill low-temperature resistant pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes. Meat should have a center temperature of 70 degrees Celsius or above, and leftovers should be boiled for at least 3 minutes. Thawed seafood or frozen pastries should avoid secondary freezing to prevent the proliferation of microorganisms. Regardless of the type of food, changes in color, odor, and texture should be observed after being taken out of the refrigerator. Food that has a sticky, rancid or moldy taste must be discarded. Elderly, pregnant, and immunocompromised individuals need to be cautious and it is recommended to heat refrigerated food to a safe temperature. Daily attention should be paid to keeping the temperature of the refrigerator below 4 degrees Celsius, separating raw and cooked foods, and regularly cleaning the inner walls and sealing strips of the refrigerator.
